Ruffed Grouse are found in most deciduous forests in North America. God made them very camouflaged – you can nearly step on one before you see it. Many times you only see them after first hearing them shuffle through the leaves. I painted “Ruffy” in 2013 for the Wyoming Conservation Stamp Art competition, where it received an honorable mention. 16”x20”
