Custer's Bighorn

I made several trips to the Custer State Park area just to photograph and witness bighorn sheep. I finally had the opportunity! So with great care, I stalked them for about an hour and crept up over the hill. Turned out this group was pretty tame but I had waited a long time to get good reference photos and was NOT going to take any chances. They let my friend David Harding and I photograph them for about an hour at 20 yards away. It was quite a treat. Any day you get to see a bighorn sheep from 20 yards is a good day.
